Isuzu Rodeo LSE

 ModelIsuzu Rodeo LSE
What things have gone wrong with the car?The only weakness is talking to the?xD;?xA;moronic people who think because the ?xD;?xA;Rodeo drives like a truck (WHICH IT IS),?xD;?xA;its not modern.

General comments? An excellent choice in SUVs. As I posted eariler, I have not had?xD;?xA;any problems with this truck. My sister an I both have identical?xD;?xA;cars... 2wd LSEs. With over 80,000 miles on mine, the only few ?xD;?xA;problems I have encountered are oil consumption and the stock ?xD;?xA;suspension. Oil consumption isn't much of a problem, and its?xD;?xA;basically good because you have to keep adding new, clean, fresh?xD;?xA;oil, keeping your engine nicely lubricated. I put a new suspension?xD;?xA;and shock kit on it for $600 and its like comparing day to nite. As of?xD;?xA;this point in time, this would have to be one of the best purchases I ?xD;?xA;have ever made. Now, so emphasize I am not the only one who?xD;?xA;loves this truck, I'll fill you in on our other Rodeo with over 100,000 ?xD;?xA;miles on it. We bought them both in Sept. of 1999, a Black LSE ?xD;?xA;and a Silver LSE. My sister has 102,000 miles to be exact, and?xD;?xA;like me, hers eats oil, but not too badly. Like I say, oil consumption?xD;?xA;is not a big issue. She's now off at college so Im sorry I cant get into ?xD;?xA;further detail with her truck. Mine uses about a quart ever 1,000?xD;?xA;miles. Gas mileage hovers around 12- 15 mpg in city use,?xD;?xA;and manages 19-21 on the freeway, which is NOT bad for ?xD;?xA;a V6 SUV. If you use the Sport Mode (power drive) which allows the?xD;?xA;engine to supply you with more power without having to place your?xD;?xA;foot harder on the gas, you will use more gas, closer to the 12mpg?xD;?xA;that I have experienced several times. The truck has never died?xD;?xA;on me, and never had any problems with it except for the recall notice?xD;?xA;for the front sun visors... which isnt a big deal. With the 3.2 Liter?xD;?xA;V6, this SUV hustles when you want to get moving. I know several?xD;?xA;people with this same truck, and none of them have had any ?xD;?xA;problems that needed a mechanic... just little ones like a squeak?xD;?xA;and a rattle hear and there but with a few tightenings with a screw ?xD;?xA;driver, they are fixed. Lets face it, for $19,000 (the Rodeo's base ?xD;?xA;price) there are just about no other midsize SUVs on the market. ?xD;?xA;The LS and the LSE are probably the better buys. (starting at?xD;?xA; $22,000) Between the styling, performance, and overall?xD;?xA;reliability that I have experienced, I will encourage anybody looking?xD;?xA;for a
