| | | General comments? | I purchased my Isuzu Rodeo in December of 1997. After 30,000 miles the engine had to be replaced. Isuzu could not define the reason for failure. Approximately one year later, they had to replace all of the seals on the motor because of the poor job the dealership did on the original engine change. Now, the electrical system has fried. My headlights don't work, signals, dash lights or anything else electrical including windows don't work. I am still paying for the vehicle because I had to refinance because of the high maintenance and repair costs associated with this vehicle. I wouldn't complain except for the fact that this vehicle has 56000 miles on the odometer. The new engine only has about 16000 miles. If you want a lemon, buy a Rodeo. If you don't stear clear from this vehicle because it will cost you an arm and a leg to get parts, to get it to a dealership that will work on it, and they will have your vehicle for approximately three weeks. Isuzu obviously does not back up what they sell. I am a very dissatisfied customer. |
