| | Model | Isuzu Rodeo | | | What things have gone wrong with the car? | Mainly in hardware. No rattles so far, but 2 cheap plastic bumpers that you can break with a pen. Power windows are starting to go. Automatic door lock system is now dead and useless. Vents don't close tight anymore. Top portion of the tire rack is starting to rust. I agree with other posts that the turn radius sucks royally. | | | | |
| | | General comments? | Very capable SUV. Crap dealership. My Isuzu dealer charged me US$1600 for a 60K tune-up. I requested an immediate trade-in for a brand new Volkswagen so they can absorb the repair bill at their cost. Fair enough? Isuzu was not interested and lowered my bill to $1200. (I know why- repairs yield high profits, and the manager believed he can move a new VW without absorbing anything.) Hence, this wonderful Rodeo may be my last Isuzu. | | | Previous car | Price, comfort and performance easily beats the mid-level SUV market. |
