| LONDON - Isuzu is preparing to ramp up marketing activity for its Rodeo Denver pick-up truck later this year to build on a successful mailer by Palmer Hargreaves Wallis Tomlinson. PHWT has been handed the brief after creating a takeaway menu style mailer for the Rodeo Denver based on a concept conceived by Isuzu's marketing team. The mailer promotes the pick-up's new starting price of £13,990 and provides full detail in the style of a menu. The idea was inspired by the statistic that commercial vehicle drivers are 73% more likely than the rest of the UK population to consume takeaways more than once a week. Kenyon Neads, Isuzu UK brand manager, said: "This mailer really hit the spot. We're looking into the next step in the campaign, which are likely to be take-away container lids, plus some competitions and potentially a series of takeaway events."
